The Watercolor Giraffe skirt was inspired by my beautiful mom Susana Lacoa.
Since a young age, I associate the kindness, elegance and height of my mom with the giraffes.
I lost my mom due to cancer when I was only 23 years old. When I decided to create my clothing line and had to come up with a logo to represent the Lacoa brand; I immediately though of a giraffe. So still in a fashionable way, she is still close to me, in every piece.
The Lacoa Giraffe—beautiful, tall, and elegant—stands as a tribute to her.
